Principal's Update
Dear HWW Students, Families and Community members,
Welcome back! We hope that our Warriors enjoyed a great Spring Break, despite the rather wintery weather here in Calgary. It was lovely to see parents/guardians who were able to attend School Conferences, and those who dropped by our Commun-i-tea.
Thank you to our School Council and Parent and Alumni Association for an excellent online meeting Monday, we accomplished much. We will move back to our hybrid format on Monday, April 27 at 6:30pm, please plan to join us.
As part of the March 18 Wednesday Warrior, we shared a Parent/Guardian Notification regarding Use of Education Technology in the classroom. We wanted to share out the link to families again for your review.
Our spring sports teams have been enthusiastically preparing for their games, which will pivot indoors for now. Please review our website calendar for our sports schedule.
A few dates to note this week:
- Fire drill– Thursday, April 2 at 10:15am
- Friday, April 3– no school
- **Classes resume on Monday, April 6
- April Diploma Exams April 9-17
Remember to wear your Green Shirt on Tuesday in honour of the Logan Boulet Effect and in support of organ donor awareness and registration across Canada.

If we can’t fill all our volunteer roles then we will be denied our next casino and we won’t be eligible for another casino for a minimum of 4-5 years. This will significantly impact the ability to bring in proper equipment to enhance core classes or limit what options we can offer.

• Gain experience in community service and leadership
